I bet there's a lot of recipes where there's more flavorful stuff masking the oil to an extent that would be better if you used melted butter. Like brownie recipes or mixes that call for oil, for example.

I guess I've recovered from eating some of my cornbread. I wish I had an animal to feed the rest too. I buy the cheapest oil because of money. I might need to try something else. Peanut oil? I don't like olive oil, which is too expensive. Probably melted butter if applicable.
